A town in Sussex has been named one of the most beautiful places in the South-East.
Lewes has made it to the final three in a competition to find the region's favourite market town.
Actress Penelope Keith, famous for her role as snooty Margo Leadbetter in Seventies sitcom The Good Life, is judging the competition for Country Life magazine.
Readers voted for Lewes, Alresford in Hampshire and Faversham in Kent to make it into the final.
Mrs Keith will tour the competing towns to see which is the most beautiful and interesting with the best sense of community.
She said: "Our market towns are to be cherished and preserved.
"I do hope this competition will encourage people to visit and support our heritage."
