Chris Adams says his Sussex side are relishing their bid to win two trophies.
The county are top of the Championship and totesport League second division ahead of a crucial double-header against Warwickshire this week.
The Sharks can go four points clear in the totesport League with victory under the Edgbaston lights tonight (4.10pm) before tackling the Bears in the Championship on Thursday.
Adams said: "If someone had offered us top place in both leagues with a month of the season left we would have been delighted, it's a fantastic position to be in."
The Sharks have lost their bite in the one-day competition after three successive defeats and Adams believes it is in the field where they must raise their game.
"The fielding has probably dropped by ten per cent," he said. "Perhaps it's pressure or a bit of fatigue and we've probably missed two of our more dynamic fielders in Ian Ward and Luke Wright.
"Having said that, the three losses have all been very close games. We've proved we're the best batting side in the division and I'm happy with the bowling.
"Winning tonight would be a huge boost but we've seen how competitive the division is.
"In the last three games we've come back into the pack but we'll find our way again."
