Written by Chris Chibnall, the man behind the BBC's Born and Bred series, Kiss Me Like You Mean It charts the story of two couples.
One pair, in their 20s, meet at a house party over a can of stolen lager. The other, in their 70s, are long married and having a party of their own in the flat above.
The play opens with Tony emerging from a party grooving to Tom Jones' Sex Bomb and being caught out by fellow guest Ruth. Despite the presence of their partners, there is an instant attraction between the pair.
The production is modern and minimalist.
Director Dawn Smithers says: "It's a very sharp, funny and poignant play. It's about real people, how they really are and how love works between people whether they are 25 or 75."
The Sandpiper Theatre at the Wetlands Trust is an intimate, steeply raked auditorium with stunning views of the lakes.
Starts 7.30pm. Tickets cost £8. Call Arundel Festival Box Office on 01903 889821.
