I'm pleased to hear of Harveys success at the Great British Beer Festival and thought readers would be interested to hear of another Sussex brewer which faired rather well.
Haywards Heath-based Dark Star Brewery had its Hophead ale in the final of the Golden Ale category at the festival.
In a competition which spans the whole of Great Britain, it was, of course, a privilege to be selected as one of the best golden ales, although it was still a disappointment not to win the group. Well done Harveys.
