For a Brighton resident of many years, not least of its pleasures is to recline in a comfortable deckchair on the beach.
Having to convey one's own "lightweight director's chair" or "comfortable sunlounger" from the car - parked where? - is not an acceptable alternative for everyone. Nor is sitting in "one of the many beach cafes".
Can we have a little tolerance please, Mr Trimingham?
