A parade of military vehicles will begin a special day to mark the end of the Second World War.
It will leave from Bellbrook industrial estate at 10am for Luxford Field, in Uckfield, where the event to commemorate VE and VJ Days will take place on August 20.
A wreath will be laid at Uckfield war memorial and a reception lunch for Second World War veterans will precede a veterans' parade, Spitfire fly-past and Dad's Army military re-enactment.
Music will be courtesy of the Eddie Bryan Big Band and a Scottish piper and the day will be rounded off with dancing in the evening to the Ian James Big Band.
Wealden District Council's corporate services councillor Raymond Parsons said: "It is important we take this opportunity to remember the sacrifices made 60 years ago in order to preserve freedom in Europe and the Far East."
The evening event, from 8pm to 11pm, costs £5. Tickets can be bought on the door or by calling 01825 769694.
