New York's hippest shook up Concorde 2 with an intoxicating brew of feverish rhythms, psychedelic guitars and driving beats.
The eight-piece band treated the audience to a peek at their new album and the current single, a blistering cover of The Magnetic Field's Take Ecstasy With Me.
But you have to take issue with the name. The idea is you can pick any percussive word as a way of pronouncing it.
So Chk! Chk! Chk! is just as acceptable as Pow! Pow! Pow! or Bang! Bang! Bang! After a while, it sounds like the lyrics to Belgium's latest Eurovision entry.
And since I don't write for the Beano, I can't justify putting three exclamation marks in a row.
The name apart, they sound like the result of a sonic train wreck between Funkadelic, The Clash and Primal Scream perhaps that's the reason for the exclamation marks!!!
The result is exhilarating party music which people who don't buy dance records can dance to.
