A team of helpers is working to guide travellers through Gatwick during the hectic summer season.
More than 30 people have been hired as welcome hosts to take people through Gatwick's check- in area and provide information about the airport's facilities.
They have been through a series of training days and visits to familiarise themselves with the airport's layout.
Most of the hosts are travel and tourism students at colleges and universities and were recruited when the airport's owner and operator, the British Airports Authority, sent out letters offering work for the summer holidays.
