John Pearce (Letters, August 4) has a valid point. The number of leaflets and flyers littering certain parts of the city has reached epidemic proportions.
It can't be nice for tourists having to wade through a sea of discarded flyers or being accosted every 20 yards to take flyers that are of no interest to them.
I have created a unique web site, www.flyercentral.co.uk, to help provide a long-term solution to this problem.
It's a virtual flyer gallery and directory where people can choose which flyers they want to see and then save, print or email them.
Since its launch in May, there have been nearly 600 flyers for more than 800 events displayed, which have been viewed by more than 2,000 people with the number of users growing every hour.
