A line drawing of a naked threesome frolicking in a field near Gatwick has been hailed as one of the most successful advertisements of the last month.
Deodorant company Lynx created a 100,000sqft line drawing in a field under the airport's flight path, loosely based on the Cerne Abbas Giant in Dorset.
The Gatwick giant, wearing a pair of Y-fronts, was joined by two topless female giants and bore the campaign slogan: "Lynx. Spray more, get more."
Despite being in place for only a week towards the end of July, it gained coverage in ten newspapers, including several nationals, making it the most talked about campaign of July, according to public relations firm Propeller Communications.
Director Martin Loat said: "This wasn't a famous television campaign that people have seen a lot of. It was a one-off stunt that got the newspapers interested.
"Without having any TV exposure, it did very well."
The giant was removed after a week because council officers said Lynx had failed to gain planning permission for an advertisement.
