Albion's new goalkeeper Wayne Henderson revealed today he wants to quit Aston Villa.
The on-loan Irish youngster reckons he is not big enough for Villa boss David O'Leary.
Former Arsenal keeper Stuart Taylor has been signed by O'Leary as competition for Thomas Sorensen, wrecking Henderson's hopes of forcing his way into contention.
The 21-year-old, who makes his home debut for Albion against Reading tonight, said: "That was really disappointing.
"This year was a big year for me. Now to get this chance, hopefully, I can prove people at Aston Villa wrong.
"I want to get out of Villa now. I've been there a long time and I just want to go and make a name for myself.
"I'm only six foot one. That was a problem at Villa, because the manager wants big oxes in goal.
"Distribution is a big part of my game and the manager here is looking for people who can do that.
"Hopefully I can bring that to the side.
"Size does matter in goalkeeping to certain people.
"It's sad, because the game has evolved so much.
"The goalkeeper is an 11th outfield player in my eyes, with the distribution skills that I've got.
"I think the old fashioned view on goalkeeping has gone out of the window, but sadly there are still some managers who want that."
