"I hope they really hate me," is not normally a line you'd here from someone promoting a play but in this case it's appropriate.
Juliette Kaplan (Pearl from Last Of The Summer Wine) is happy to show her scary side as the Wicked Witch Of The West.
"I just love playing baddies, especially to an audience of children.
They have no inhibitions about shouting out, booing and hissing and generally participating."
She is joined by Dani Harmer from The Tracey Beaker Show and Colin White from Grange Hill in this summer holiday show, which gives the tale of Dorothy and her friends a fresh twist.
There are some new songs and dance routines and lots of audience participation, all with plenty of panto-esque humour which the kids should enjoy.
The show is produced by Hammond Productions, which presents the Pavilion panto each year and was responsible for last year's summer show Jungle Book, which was the theatre's most popular week-long show ever.
Show times vary, call 01903 206206. Tickets £8-£12.
