The leadership of Brighton and Hove Council, in trying to force the huge King Alfred towers development on the community, against the wishes of its people, is sadly acting typically like local and national government: They are completely ignoring the wishes of the people who have elected them.
Instead of steamrollering unpopular schemes, such as the Towers, our elected officials should be reflecting the views of their constituents.
