I would like to say how interesting I've found the supplements celebrating 125 years of The Argus.
I was just a child at the outbreak of the Second World War but can remember the air raids and Battle of Britain quite vividly.
I recall looking skywards and admiring our pilots dog-fighting and wishing I could fly with them.
The item on Hove's HMS King Alfred was also absorbing, with film stars Kenneth More and Alec Guinness among the 22,500 Royal Naval Voluntry Reserve Officers who trained on it.
Then there was Vera Lynn who sung uplifting songs to our troops but we must not forget Anne Shelton either.
These supplements are something special to keep.
