TWO of Albion's injury victims get their first chance to impress manager Brian Horton tonight.
Birthday boy Robbie Reinelt and Derek Allan play for the Reserves against a strong Portsmouth line-up in the Combination at Fratton Park (7.0). Reinelt, 24 today, sustained knee ligament damage during Albion's defeat at Rochdale on February 21, shortly before Horton took charge. Allan has been missing since tearing a thigh muscle at Macclesfield six weeks ago. He returns to the defence along with Ross McNally, who is available again following a two-match ban. Albion also give debuts to two more trialists. Andrew Catley is an 18-year-old midfielder released by Southampton and Warren Queen a 24-year-old Canadian forward whose father Gerry played up front for Crystal Palace. Portsmouth field nine players with first team experience, including World Cup-bound Jamaican duo Paul Hall and Fitzroy Simpson. Portsmouth Reserves: Knight; Igoe, Hinshelwood, Waterman, Perrett, Enes, Carter, F. Simpson, R. Simpson, Svensson, Hall. Subs: Jukes, Williams, Hawley. Albion Reserves: Packham; Saul, McNally, Allan, Andrews, Francis, Reinelt, Armstrong, Catley, Barker, Queen. Subs: Grim, McArthur, Winter.
