The talented Burgess Hill youngster hopes to win her way through to the show's final with her version of the star's hit song, Because You Love Me.

Natalie, 15, of Folders Lane, is a pupil at Burgess Hill School and also has ballet lessons at the Drusilla Duffill Theatre School. She auditioned for the programme last year and of the 50,000 candidates was one of the 60 selected. Her mother, Karen, said: "Natalie has always liked Celine Dion and sings her songs all the time. "She was watching the show one day and decided she would like to have a go herself so she made up a cassette and sent it in. "We were amazed when she did so well." Natalie had to interrupt her three-week holiday in Portugal and fly back to take part in the second audition but it was worth it." "Everyone is very proud of her and excited about seeing her on the programme." The show is being broadcast on April 18.
