GARY Hart is taking the Robbie Reinelt boot route to goalscoring glory.
The Albion ace is wearing new Valsport boots for tonight's showdown at Swansea.
Reinelt used the same make when he scored the equaliser at Hereford which rescued the Seagulls from relegation two seasons ago.
Said Hart: "I was having problems with my Adidas boots. They weren't wide enough and crucified my feet. The Valsport's are the only ones that fit me.
"I didn't know that Robbie Reinelt wore them too, but if everything goes according to plan I will start scoring again tonight."
Hart's nine goals this season have come in clusters, including his winner against Swansea at the Priestfield Stadium in September.
The rookie striker has hit the net only once in his last eight appearances and drew a blank against Peterborough last Saturday, when the Valsport boots made their debut.
New boss Jeff Wood reckons it's just a matter of time before the boot is on the other foot.
"As long as we keep creating chances for him then eventually they will go in," said Wood. "And when they do he will get a few."
Albion have won six, drawn two and lost one of their last nine away games in the League since losing at Swansea's arch-rivals Cardiff in October.
Wood wants to continue his 100 per cent record which would, briefly at least, lift the Seagulls to fourth, outside the automatic promotion places only on goals scored.
"Swansea are a good side and it will be a very tough game," he said. "But we are looking to get the result.
"The boys have showed great character to come through the last couple of matches with maximum points."
Andy Arnott (dead leg) and Michael Bennett (knee) have both recovered, so Wood selects from a squad of 17.
