ALBION boss Jeff Wood insists he won't be panicked into making wholesale changes.
A disastrous 1-0 home defeat by Exeter, Wood's first since taking charge, has dropped the Seagulls out of the play-off places.
They also now have THREE players banned for their next home match against jinx opponents Leyton Orient on Saturday week after Gary Hart was sent off late on and Ian Culverhouse and Paul Sturgess were both booked.
"Maybe some of the recent results made us think we are a batter side than we are," Wood said. "You have to graft and battle and earn the right to play in every game in this League.
"We were very disappointing in all areas of the pitch. Hopefully it's a little blip that we can put behind us by getting a result at Southend on Saturday.
"Too many had off games together, but there won't be radical changes. We just have to work on certain things."
Darren Rowbotham's 100th League goal for Exeter earned them only their second win in 37 away games since the recalled striker scored twice in the corresponding fixture last season.
Hart was red carded for two bookable offences in the space of four minutes. Culverhouse collected his fifth caution of the campaign and Sturgess, who has already been suspended, his eighth.
Added Wood: "Losing players of Culvers' quality and Gary Hart's pace and Sturg is going to hurt. Everybody has got to pick themselves up. There are still an awful lot of points to play for."
Jeff Minton has a scan this week on lingering ankle ligament damage which has kept him out of the last four matches.
Stuart Storer has also suffered a setback in his bid to shrug off a groin injury.
The reserves have a rearranged game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park tonight (7.0).
