ANDREW Tyler will play through the pain barrier in Worthing Bears final four games as Sean Loucks' men look to sign off on a positive note.
Canadian forward Tyler is battling on despite a bad ankle injury, and he is convinced that his team can end strongly provided they can play as a team and cut out vital mental lapses.
Bears entertain outgoing Budweiser League champions Greater London Leopards tomorrow knowing that only a miracle can save them from the wooden spoon as they have to win their last four matches and hope Leicester lose their final six.
Said Tyler: "Leopards are a tough team but we almost beat them at their place in our last meeting 11 weeks ago when we were without Jon Gaines.
"We need to play a full game with everybody together instead of having moments. Everyone has to be focused and positive, we have to try and look at the good things we've done and bring all that good stuff into the game for this Saturday."
Bears turned the ball over a costly 20 times in their midweek 100-88 home defeat against Derby and Tyler stresses the importance of minimising mistakes.
He added: "If we win some of our remaining games it will be an achievement and will round things off really well. Getting three wins out of our last four games is a very possible target.
"It's been a tough season but all we can do is to try and keep positive. Everybody on the team has come from good winning sides and this has been a big wake-up call. We have got to focus on wins instead of losses."
Tyler believes that although the season has not been successful it has still been a terrific experience and he would jump at the chance of playing in the Budweiser League again.
He said: "Everybody has seen how good the League is. If things work out well I would love to come back. I'm the kind of player who doesn't like to bounce around from place to place.
"There has been good and bad things about this season, but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. I would like to stay and help build things up."
