MORE detailed proposals for a new stadium at Falmer will be unveiled by the Albion at a public meeting today.

The meeting, at Hove Town Hall from 7.30pm, will include addresses by club chairman Dick Knight and director Martin Perry.

Specially-commissioned graphics will show what the community stadium at Village Way North would look like.

The meeting will also mark the official launch of the Falmer Stadium Campaign, a non party-political group whose aim is to encourage a 'Yes, Yes' vote in the May 6 referendum.

Campaign representatives will outline the details of three weeks of events and initiatives to take the message to the 240,000 residents of Brighton and Hove in the run-up to May 6.

Campaign spokesman Paul Samrah said: "The meeting will serve as the springboard for a major information campaign.

"Residents need to be aware that a No vote to the community development at Falmer will effectively rule out a stadium for Brighton and Hove forever.

"Falmer has been identified only after an exhaustive audit of all other sites. It has first-class public transport, it is south of the A27 and it is a site designated for employment.

"In short, it is the only practical and sensible option."
