SOME of the world's most gifted athletes just skated through this week's rehearsals at Worthing's Pavilion Theatre.
The Russian Ice Stars are performing Cinderella on Ice until Saturday.
The £3.5 million production is being put on by the Wild Rose Ice Theatre Company.
More than 12 tons of ice has been refrigerated on stage at the theatre to give ice fans a spectacular show.
The title role of Cinderella is played by Russian champion ice skater Ekaterina Murugova, who starred as Christine in Phantom of the Opera on Ice.
Another top skater, Oleg Petrov, who played the Toreador in Carmen on Ice, plays the Prince.
The show started last night as part of a 28-venue nationwide tour.
Cinderella on Ice has been choreographed by Giuseppe Arena and Valeri Petcherski and is directed by Tony Mercer.
There are nightly performances at 7.30pm and matinees today and Saturday at 2.30pm.
