A restaurant owner accused of begging a business woman for sex has been cleared of the allegations.

Cedvez Yilmez , 31, was acquitted at Brighton Magistrates Court of indecently assaulting the woman and using insulting words or

behaviour.

The 24-year-old woman claimed Mr Yilmez propositioned her during a business meeting in April, when he opened Barts Brasserie, in Trafalgar Street, Brighton.

She told the court he complained his wife was old and they did not have sex any more.

He offered to pay the business woman for sex and caressed her hand.

She said she felt degraded and upset that he had talked to her like a

prostitute.

She said: "He said he had got married too young and his wife was old and past it.

"He said he was very frustrated. I was really shocked.

She added: "I felt disgusted about the whole ordeal."

But Mr Yilmez, of Shepherd Way, Portslade, told magistrates the woman was lying.

He said she must have made up the story because she was angry when he complained about an aspect of the work she had organised for him.

He said during the meeting he did not mention sex.

He said he was happily married to his wife, Louise, 40, who works in a bank and is a partner in his business.

He said: "It is not true

I asked her for sex. I did

not discuss my private life at all. It was all totally business."

His wife described their sex life as very good.

She told the court: "We have a very, very good

marriage. It is very strong. We are very close. I

would say we are best friends."
