Boss Sammy Donnelly heaped praise on his Worthing Wonders as they clinched an FA Cup glory night for Sussex last night.
Tony Holden's superb extra time finish sparked wild celebrations and earned a 1-0 replay win at Conference side Dover Athletic.
Worthing's jubilant fans, who had roared their men to a deserved win with choruses of Sussex By The Sea, joined the celebrations of a famous result.
And Donnelly said: "I'm so pleased for them, for the chairman, but most of all for the players of Worthing Football Club.
"We've done Sussex football proud tonight.
"We knew we could have played better on Saturday, but we really turned it on for the replay.
"All credit to us. We've come to a Conference side, played three upfront, and dominated the whole match."
This is Rebels' first appearance in the first round proper for five years and Donnelly's first ever.
Worthing face a tough time away to Rotherham a week on Saturday, but their boss said: "We'll enjoy it."
