A TWO-year-old girl has been reunited with her

parents after a three-hour abduction ordeal.

Two 12-year-old girls were arrested after little Lois Grenham was abducted from outside her home in Hove where she had been playing.

A full-scale police search was launched and all bus drivers in the Brighton and Hove area were alerted by radio to be on the look-out.

Lois was finally spotted at 3.45pm yesterday on Brighton seafront.

The Sussex Police helicopter was hovering above as officers found Lois in Marine Drive.

Two girls, one from Brighton and one from Hove, were later arrested at the marina on suspicion of child abduction.

Their clothes have been taken for forensic examination and they were later released on police bail and will be questioned further.

Lois was immediately taken back to her worried parents, Tim and Marian, at their home.

Miss Grenham, 36, said: "It was the worst day of my life, I still can't believe it happened.

"I never thought I'd see my baby again. I am just glad she is now safe."

Lois, at the time of her abduction, was dressed in blue/purple jogging bottoms and a matching jumper.

Det Con Jo Wainwright said: "Lois is a lovely little girl and she appears unharmed by her ordeal."
