POLICE sought a man with long, shaggy blond hair after five women reported he had followed them, making indecent suggestions.
All the victims told police the man who approached them in Hove last night was riding a
yellow mountain bike.
In the first incident a woman walking in Hove Park reported being
followed and harassed by the suspect.
A short time later the man asked a woman in Nevill Avenue directions before he exposed himself.
Lewd suggestions were made to a woman walking near Hove Lagoon at 5pm, and a fourth woman was followed and was subjected to indecent suggestions outside Brambles cafe, near the King Alfred.
The fifth victim was approached and had indecent suggestions made to her at Hove Lagoon at about 6pm.
The suspect is described as about 30, with long blond shaggy hair, and wearing glasses, jeans and a blue anorak.
A police spokesman said: "All the incidents took place between 4pm and 6pm last night.
"From the descriptions given it is believed that the same man is responsible."
A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incidents.
