Police believe they now
know the identity of the woman found strangled and dumped at a Sussex beauty spot.
The woman, whose body
was discovered in dense undergrowth between Arundel and Amberley last Wednesday, is aged between 30 and 45-years-old. A post-mortem showed she had been strangled.
She was believed to be
staying in the Bognor area around New Year's Day, but
is not thought to come from
Sussex.
Detectives are today trying to contact relatives and the woman's identity is expected to be released tomorrow.
Police are appealing to the public for their help in tracing the woman's killer and anyone able to help should call the incident room at Bognor on 0845 60 70 999.
Two men arrested in connection with the death have been released on police bail.
