Reds manager Bill Smith said: "It was a funny game and, although the scoreline might have flattered us, we looked like we would score every time we attacked.
"We were bigger all round as a team and I think Worcester struggled with that.
"Worcester had some experienced players, but they made mistakes and we captilised on them.
"The gap is still eight points between us and the fourth- bottom team but we'll keep going until we're safe."

Crawley put on pressure and Gus Hurdle, put in by Wordsworth, had a drive tipped onto a post by Danny Watson in the 20th minute.
After Keith Charman had seen a header come back off the crossbar just a minute later, Jay Lovett's long throw led to Wordsworth firing the equaliser.
Reds took the lead on 29 minutes when Andy Taylor headed home his first goal of the season from Ian Payne's corner.
Crawley skipper John Ugbah curled a shot just over and Wordsworth had a low shot saved just after the interval.
Vines flicked in Reds' third in the 54th minute after Lovett robbed Kevin Willetts and crossed.
Five minutes later it was 4-1 Vines completed after a one-two with hurdle.
Crawley went close again with Lovett's drive well held by Watson.
Worcester reduced the deficit in the 66th minute when goakeeper Andy Little missed his punch and Jamie Hyde scored.
Little saved a headerfrom Ian Cottrill before Reds grabbed his second goal ten minutes from time.
A depleted Hastings Town suffered a 4-2 Eastern Division setback at second-in-the-table Fisher Athletic.
Town fwere four goals down early in the second half before a late rally.
Bryn Charles put Fisher in front after only seven minutes when he beat Hastings goalkeeper Tony Kessell.
Three minutes later Hamad Barr doubled Fisher's advantage from the penalty spot after a foul by Stuart Playford.
Hastings came close when a Terry White free kick tested Maurice Munden before Playford headed straight at the keeper a few minutes later.
Steve Portway added a third for Fisher in first-half stoppage time and Jamie Beer made it four soon after the interval.
Paul Jones pulled a goal back on 72 minutes.
Strong appeals for a penalty were turned down when Jones was brought down in the area but deep into added time White converted from the spot after a foul on Danny Simmonds.
Hastings will be hoping to be back to full strength for their League Cup final against Burton Albion tomorrow.
