A Hove man is hoping his internet idea will win him £1 million when he appears on a Channel 4 show next Wednesday.
Anthony Lee, of Palmeira Square, will compete against 14 other contestants to win the jackpot on The E-Millionaire Show under the scrutiny of host Jon Snow.
Viewers will vote to pick their favourite e-commerce venture and vie for the chance to own one per cent of the most popular firm.
Channel 4 television cameras will follow the progress of the winning venture.
Mr Lee said: "It will involve standing in front of Jon Snow and a live audience and tembling."
He is hoping to win funding for his website idea - earnies.com.
The site will let parents and teachers set children tasks and reward them with credits for stores such as WH Smith and Toys R Us.
Children reaching goals such as going to bed on time every night for a month will automatically be rewarded with gifts in the post, paid for in advance by their parents.
The site will make money through commission on sales and interest on parents' accounts.
Mr Lee got the idea for the website while helping unqualified young people get back into education with the Training and Enterprise Council.
He has remortgaged his house to set up an internet firm with friends.
