An international telecoms firm hopes to create 20 jobs within a year after picking Brighton as the base for its recruitment division.
Band-X Recruitment moved into offices in Tower Point, Brighton, last month and is currently looking for three new staff members.
When not finding staff for its own office, Band-X will be helping firms such as Cable and Wireless find telecoms experts.
Director Samantha Maxwell-Reed said Brighton was an obvious choice. She said: "The universities and presence of other recruitment companies makes it attractive.
"There are a lot of linguists here. We need people who are at least bi-lingual. There's such a shortage of talent."
The company would also be well placed to serve clients in the Gatwick area.
