The number of employers recruiting graduates on the internet has doubled in the past year, according to a report.
Two out of three graduate recruiters are now hiring staff online, while nine out of 10 students in their final year of university are looking for jobs on the net.
Almost half of graduate recruiters believe the quality of applications is higher via the internet than through traditional methods, research showed.
"Today's graduates are web-aware and regard the internet as the obvious place to look for information and services," said Carl Gilleard, chief executive of the Association of Graduate Recruiters, which published the report.
