The Misadventures of Tron Bonne from Eidos is a breath of fresh air.

It is aimed squarely at the under-fives and it can be safely said that this title will not appeal to adults.

The game centres on the adventues of the Bonne family who roam the world in search of treasure.

Taking control of a robot named Gustaff, the aim is to wander through the game's world in search of this loot. Of course, nothing is that simple and along the way Gustaff and his servobots have all manner of nasty adversaries to deal with.

I'm in two minds about this game. On the one hand the under-fives are going to really enjoy Tron Bonne with its easy to follow instructions, cute graphics and nifty soundtrack.

But as far as educational value goes, I'm not convinced that shooting spaceships or wandering through tunnels in search of treasure is going to enrich your childrens' lives.

Worth a look but there are plenty of kids' games out there which have more to offer in the fun and learning departments.
