Sussex are hoping a crowd of around 4,000 will watch their attempt to climb out of the National League relegation zone at Arundel tomorrow.

A victory for the Sharks over Yorkshire Phoenix tomorrow could lift them from third bottom to third in Division One, depending on other results.

One-day games at the Castle Ground have always been well supported and Yorkshire have traditionally attracted a good following.

Sussex Chief Executive Dave Gilbert said: "Arundel sells itself because it is the quintessential English cricket ground and the Sunday games there have always been well supported and we hope it continues."

Sussex have run into some form after a poor start to the season with two wins in their last three games, including a 47-run victory over Northants a fortnight ago when skipper Chris Adams made his first competition century of the season.

Adams, of course, broke the county record for an innings in one-day cricket when he made 163 against Middlesex at Arundel a year ago and, judging by the fluent way he batted against Essex yesterday, he could be in the mood to produce more fireworks.

Sussex are likely to be unchanged with Will House getting another opportunity to establish himself as a one-day all-rounder, having taken 11 wickets with his medium pacers this season.

Sussex (probable): Montgomerie, Adams, Cottey, Bevan, House, Rashid, Martin-Jenkins, Patterson, Kirtley, Taylor, Robinson.
