A flat on Littlehampton seafront was still being examined by police last night.
The one-bedroom flat in St Augustine's Road has been sealed off by detectives.
Forensic experts first started examining the flat the day after Sarah vanished.
A large amount of material has been taken from the property for laboratory analysis.
The flat is believed to be the home of one of two men questioned by police shortly after Sarah disappeared on July 1.One man, in his early forties, was held at Littlehampton police station for three days before being released on police bail.
The second man, in his thirties, was questioned for 24 hours before he was also bailed to reappear at the police station on a later date.
Last night a police caravan was still parked outside the address as officers continued to search the property.
During the hunt for Sarah, when she was still classed just as a missing person, police estimated they had spent around £50,000 sending items to be analysed for DNA and other tests at forensic scientific laboratories.
Neighbours said the man who occupied the flat had lived there alone for about a year.
They said they believed a white van had also been removed from the property.
