When will the inhabitants of Brighton and Hove realise only ten per cent of the cement works are in Shoreham and the remaining 90 per cent are actually in Beeding (Opinion, July 8)?
Beeding already has its share of tips and an unacceptably high number of large lorries passing through the village to get to them.
Perhaps the person who withheld their name when suggesting this area as a potential site for the new incinerator, would stand at the road junction in Beeding, where the life expectancy of the keep left bollard seldom exceeds 24 hours, before coming up with such a selfish suggestion.
