What cheek health authorities executives have displayed in criticising the Argus's campaign to stand up for the people most affected by the proposed merger of Brighton and Haywards Heath hospital services.
Just two years ago, chief executive Stuart Welling emphatically stated a merger was not on the agenda. Now, after the plans have been laid, we are told an open discussion process is to be undertaken to share views and seek comments. What rubbish!
The process of merger is already under way and I believe medical staff are being undermined by moving jobs to where the executive wants them rather than doing what is best for the people.
