At 7ft 3in and dressed a red lycra suit, John Le Bar caused a bit of a stir when he presented gold medals to staff at a bookmakers.
The second tallest man in Britain visited Ladbrokes, in the Langney Shopping Centre, Eastbourne, to reward staff for raising more than £800 for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
He was also there to promote the special Red Man badges for sale in the bookmakers, with all the funds going towards the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer.
Branch manager Jenny West said: "I would like to thank all our customers who have put their hands in their pockets and supported us."
Along with her staff, Jenny hopes to raise a grand total of £1,000 for the charity.
