It WAS good to see the first memorial in the country to babies who die before birth is to be erected in East Grinstead (Argus, July 27).
Almost all mothers who have lost babies through abortion, miscarriage or stillbirth experience the trauma of bereavement and many suffer because trauma has not been resolved through the mourning process.
Such a memorial will provide a focus point for remembrance, not only for the mother and other near relatives, but for those others who wish to show respect and remembrance for the unborn.
