Brighton will be one of the first places in the country to get access to new internet photo technology.
Boots is launching the service which will let you create a permanent photo album on the internet.
Customers processing photos at Boots will be able to have their images uploaded to a password-protected website.
Reprints and enlargements will be available through the website.
When Bootsphoto.com is fully operational, you will be able to get rid of red-eye and crop pictures online.
The service will be available at Boots' North Street store later this month.
It will then be introduced to 1,400 Boots shops across the country.
Phil Douty, head of bootsphoto.com, said: "The internet is going to fundamentally change the photographic market.
"Because Boots has already invested in its own in-store digital mini-labs, we are uniquely positioned to launch a complete e-photo service and roll it out fast."
The service will be available to ordinary 35mm camera owners as well as those using digital cameras and the Advanced Photo System (APS).
bootsphoto.com will also offer an online booking service for professional photographers and a free image library.
A photography magazine and shop will be included on the site.
In the USA, film processing websites such as Shutterfly and ememories have won backing from big names such as George Soros and Disney.
Infotrends Technology Group predicts the online print processing market will be worth more than £1.6 billion by 2005.
