Four men face further questioning by police after trouble broke out on a jumbo jet flight to Gatwick last night.
The four were returning from a Greek island holiday and were arrested early today at the airport. Later they were bailed for a month.
An airport police spokesman said the captain of Transair flight TLA117 from Kos had radioed for police to meet the plane when it landed at 1.23am.
He added: "Four men were arrested in connection with an offence of criminal damage to one of the seats in the aircraft and another offence of disorderly behaviour towards the plane's crew.
The four were taken to Crawley police station and detained overnight.
A spokesman for travel agents JMC said the men had earlier been evicted from their apartment in Kos for disruptive behaviour.
