Lifeboat crews had a busy weekend, rescuing people from sinking or broken down boats.
Selsey lifeboat went to the rescue of a yacht after it began to sink off Chichester bar beacon.
The skipper of the 25ft vessel was lifted on to a friend's boat, which was standing by, before the stricken yacht was towed into Chichester.
The coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent transferred a 30-year-old diver with suspected bends from a dive vessel off Littlehampton, to a hospital in Portsmouth.
He was then taken by ambulance to a recompression chamber nearby.
Dover coastguard received a mobile phone call from a 17ft angling boat to say it was 500 yards off Beachy Head with an overheating engine and needed assistance.
Eastbourne lifeboat towed the vessel back to the town's Sovereign Harbour.
