People with mental health problems and their families are being reminded they can find information and support through a new website.

The website has also been designed for GPs who see an average of one out of every three of their patients for mental health problems.

The website has been set up by the charity Mind. East Sussex has an ongoing problem with shortage of care and services for people with mental health problems.

Mind spokesman Sean Triner said: "Because mental health problems remain taboo, this new website will be crucial.

The website contains details from more than 40 information factsheets. The address is www.mind.org.uk For the latest news, views and sport log on to www.thisisbrightonandhove.co.uk
