Brighton new media agency Get Frank has taken on Bafta-winning sound and multimedia designer Matt Thurling.
Mr Thurling will specialise in putting sound on clients' websites. He said: "It's about ambient sounds, an atmosphere, a branding that the user may not always notice but actually makes a huge impression."
Mr Thurling won a Bafta in 1997 for work on Peter Gabriel's CD-Rom Ceremony Of Innocence.
Creative director Andrew Seel said: "The sound experience Matt brings will enable us to offer products such as full-screen advertising, music promos and online games."
