Raiders broke into an oil exploration company's building for the third time this year and stole valuable computer equipment.
Details have just been released of the latest break-in at Schlumberger House, near Gatwick Airport's South Terminal, on Sunday morning.
Security staff spotted two men making off on foot with four processing units, said to be worth in the region of £40,000.
Police searched the area but did not find them.
One was white and wore a blue top and orange cap. His accomplice was a black man.
A police spokesman said: "If anyone saw anything suspicious or has any information about the burglary they should contact Gatwick CID on 08566 070999."
