I have lived in Saltdean for four years with my family and although we love it, we find it a bit isolated and sleepy. At least this was the case until the recent travellers' rave on the Tye settlement. I suspect it was the liveliest Saltdean has been since the pirates arrived. It was also a lot of fun.
