I should like to thank the lady and librarian at the Meridian Centre, Peacehaven, the paramedics and police who attended my 80-year-old mother after she was mugged and robbed recently. If anyone should find her shopping bag containing her bus pass, glasses and raincoat would you please either hand it in to the police or contact PC Merran Waters on 0845 6070999. I wonder how the thug who mugged my mother would like it if it was their mother or grandmother?
