A superb Warren Tilley strike lit up Horsham YMCA's otherwise routine 2-0 home win over Cobham.

Tilley crashed home a volley after Peter Durrant had flicked on a corner to set his side off on another cup run.

YM's opener came from a penalty won by Phil Fitzgerald and converted by Phil Churchill against a Cobham side who posed little threat.

Justin Thorpe got the only goal after just eight minutes as Wick beat Erith and Belvedere 1-0, while Littlehampton beat Peacehaven 2-0 on Friday evening.

Ringmer face a home tie against Herne Bay if they can get through tomorrow's replay with Fareham Town.

Jason Reid opened the scoring on 26 minutes with his fifth goal in six games, while Paul Curtis and Glenn Davies were unlucky not to put Ringmer further ahead at the interval.

However, Fareham fought back in the second half and snatched an equaliser with a penalty from former England international Mark Chamberlain, who also had a spell with Albion.

Chichester City United boss Adie Girdler rated his side's display their worst of the season but they will have a chance to put things right at Abingdon United tomorrow.

Jamie Laidlaw put them in front from Daren Hewitt's through ball but it needed a Roger Moore header to clinch a 2-2 draw.

Chi have been in good form of late.

But Girdler said: "I think we were showboating a bit."

Hassocks also have a good chance of progressing after claiming a 2-2 draw at Erith Town.

James Laing was twice on target to force the Kent side south on Wednesday evening.

Hailsham Town gave a good account of themselves against Whyteleafe, who reached a first round proper replay last year. Dave Adams' equaliser put them right in the game before prolific Steve Lunn forced the ball home to clinch a 2-1 win for the Surrey side.
