I was horrified to see the photos of Ricardo Saroyan-James, the gay man who was attacked in the street by two violent strangers.
I hope these men are caught and we can see another front page reporting they have been sent to prison for this appalling act.
Sadly, many lesbians and gay men are aware of the possibilities of facing abuse or violence in the streets, despite Brighton's cosmopolitan image.
