I am not really surprised at the attitude of Ed Cruickshank Robb (Argus, September 1). I wonder if he would feel the same if he were still chairman of the Hove Conservatives. I doubt it.
Tory agent Jeanette Allen recently commented that one does not invite a member of the opposition (in this case a Liberal Democrat) to open an exhibition on Conservative premises. I am sure Ed Cruickshank Robb knows that only too well.
I think his remarks are a few sour grapes, especially as he defected to Labour after many years as a Tory.
