Steve Elms is the Sussex 25-mile Time Trial Champion for the fifth time in six years.
The Crawley ace stormed round the Steyning-based course to win in a sprint finish in an excellent time of 54min.13sec.
Steve Dennis (East Grinstead) also produced a fine effort but had to be satisfied with the silver medal in a time of 55min.34sec.
The bronze went to Sussex 50-mile champion Dave Pollard (In Gear) who clocked 56min.3sec.
Mark Jones (GS Stella) was fourth in 56min.20sec. His clubmate John Limpus placed fifth in 56min.55sec, followed by Steve Lenn (Bognor Regis CC) in 57min.13sec.
Women's winner was Lisa Thompson (In Gear) with 1hr.5min.55sec, Charles Burrell (Central Sussex) was fastest junior with 1hr.8min.21sec and Chichester rider Richard Parker (Hants RC) was veteran handicap winner with 59min.22sec.
Elms (In Gear) said: "My next target is the Southern Counties 25 on Sunday. I need a fast time for the best-all-rounder competition."
Marina Bloom, of Crawley Wheelers, has made a successful attempt on the Southern Road Records Association women's 25-mile record. She covered the course from Southwater to Crawley and back in 1hr 1min.13sec to beat the previous record of 1hr.3min.36sec set in 1977.
Horsham's 72-year-old veteran Ray Venis (21st Century Airports) has won the Southend Wheelers aptly named Antique Roadshow Road Race, with his clubmate Eric Clark in second place.
Bournemouth rider Bryan Taylor won the final Hove Park evening race, 58 seconds ahead of Tom House (VC Londres). Next over the line were Sussex riders Toby Leyton (Regent), Paul Byford (Horsham Riders), Sean McClelland (Worthing Excelsior) and Barry Calvert (Regent).
Mike Thyer (Horsham Riders) won the Grand Veterans' mountain bike race in the fifth and final round of the Southern Area Championships in Berkshire. This performance gave him third place overall.
