Punters have been pouring into Brighton's betting shops to place bets on who will win the big prize in the Big Brother television show.
Former Brighton University student Mel, one of the remaining four contestants in the Channel 4 house, has fallen off the top spot to win the £70,000 prize.
She has been replaced by Craig, who was bookies' favourite yesterday.
Mel, who once told housemates how she knew Hove-based DJ Norman Cook, and Darren have been nominated with Craig.
Ian Wheale, manager of Corals, in St James' Street, Brighton, said he had at least 40 people into the shop placing bets on the remaining contestants, although Craig and Anna were proving to be the most popular bets to remain on the show.
He said: "Most people have put around £20 on. We've had lots and lots on Anna, although Craig is the favourite."
He said Craig was previously a longshot at 22-1 but had improved his chances since his showdown with Nasty Nick, who was ousted from the house several weeks ago.
Mr Wheale said more people were putting cash down on contestants in recent weeks as the show's popularity gained momentum.
A spokeswoman for Ladbrokes in St James' Street said: "Someone came in and put a £20 on Craig at 11-4."
Although few people seemed to be betting on Mel to scoop the prize, she added: "I quite like Mel, I think Anna is a bit devious."
